Shaking and Shifting
(Originally written Sept. 2007)
Currently the Lord is shaking and shifting many things within the body of Christ. These shakings and shiftings have been foreseen and prophesied, and the shaking will continue into the future. God is shaking the Church so that the Church will humble itself, repent, turn from its wickedness, and pray to come in line with the Lord's true missional purpose and destiny for His Church. Envy, self-seeking, and a falling away from its First Love have caused the Church to be ineffectual and full of deception.
We must seek the Lord's face and repent... NOW!
Because of the continuing shakings and shiftings, and due to a prophetic vision and dream (see below) given to Richard Jones, founder of one heart and lead pastor of the Uprising, we have been instructed of the Lord to wait on His timing regarding the next one heart gathering. In light of this prophetic vision and dream we have decided to schedule the next one heart only when the Lord releases us to do so. Please pray fervently for God's will to become manifest concerning the true calling of His Church, especially in Tulsa.
UPDATE: As of November, 2011, the shakings continue to increase in their intensity. The shakings will most likely grow worse as God begins to vomit the lukewarm Church out of His mouth. (Rev. 3:15&16)
Not coincidentally, central Oklahoma has been shaken by over 1000 earthquakes since March, 2009. On August 2011, a series of strong and unpredicted earthquakes struck Colorado and the east coast, including Washinton D.C. and New York City! On November 5th, Oklahoma had a record earthquake measuring 5.6! It was felt from Texas to Minnesota and as far east as Indiana!
A Vision Followed by a Dream
March 2006
WHAT I SAW
As we were driving to the old Abbott Mansion site just north of downtown Tulsa, OK to pray and prophesy over the city, we drove past a man in a wheelchair just outside the downtown YMCA. The man was an elderly black man, probably in his 80’s. What stood out however was his clothing. He was dressed in a full Civil War, Union soldier uniform, complete with white gloves and black officer's hat with a golden rope hatband.
As I noticed this man the Lord said to me that, “just as multitudes were freed from slavery and bondage by soldiers willing to go to war, so will this city be freed from religious bondage by those soldiers willing to engage in spiritual warfare.” I also wondered what the significance was of the fact that he was in a wheelchair and the Lord told me: “It represents the crippled state of the Church today, as it is currently unable to stand and march into the battle.”
A DREAM
5 days later, after our prophetic intercession at the Abbott Mansion site, I had a dream from the Lord. In this dream I was in the downtown area of a large city and there was a lot of activity going on around me. The next thing I knew, I was on the top of a tall structure that was being dismantled. It was not being torn down, but dismantled and carried away on flatbed trucks.
I was directing heavy equipment, like big cranes, that were being used to dismantle the many structures of the city. These structures were made of stone or cast concrete facades with steel beams used as supports for the structures. Again, I was having the cranes and other heavy equipment lower large pieces of these structures and facades to the ground so they could be moved and taken away on heavy trucks.
I awoke from my dream and I inquired of the Lord what this meant. The Lord said to me: “I am dismantling the old religious structures that have been erected by men. I am clearing the way to build what I desire to be raised in this place and in this time! There is a large city to be dismantled, but I will raise up a new city built upon foundations of Divine Truth which support pillars of Righteousness and Justice. But first there will be a great dismantling and many will be exposed to the earthquakes, the winds and the rain, to the hail and the hot sun, to the cold, the snow and the darkness. I am their Strong Tower", says the Lord. "Oh, how I so much desire for them to run to Me in that day of the great dismantling! For I am raising up a New City for those who will.”
I knew then that my dream was specifically about the 'dis-mantling' (removing the mantle) of the old Church structure as we know it and that God was going to raise up a new Church, one that is built according to His Divine providence and not built on the plans and ambitions of men.
